Southern Europe hot rolled cold (HRC) steel prices remained unchanged week-on-week at €413 per ton

Southern Europe hot rolled cold (HRC) steel prices remained unchanged week-on-week at €413 per ton in the week ended July 13th this year, as per the latest figures released by the The Steel Index.

According to TSI, deals in the South European market continued to be done mostly within the €410-420 a ton range.

North European HRC was seen transacting prevailingly in the €420- 425 a ton range last week amid tepid demand and plentiful offers.

With persistently weak raw material prices, buyers are pondering if downtrend will continue, as trades are starting to emerge below the €420 a ton mark.
