South Africa’s imports of carbon steel and alloy steel up in Sep

According to the data released by the South African Iron and Steel Institute, the country’s imports of carbon steel and alloy steel products totaled 82,376 tons in September, increasing by 9.9% from a month ago.

In the first nine months of this year, South Africa’s imports of carbon and alloy steel products amounted to 1.01 million tonnes down by 19.2% YoY.
