The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for bigger vessels dropped to below 800 points on Tuesday as rates for bigger vessels continued to slip.
The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, was down 16 points or 2.01 percent to 782 points.
