According to Spetsstal’s expert appraisal, the volume of Russian imports of the main types of stainless steel products in the H1 of 2014, if compared with the equal period of 2013, increased by 2.4% and amounted to 124,200 tonnes.
The volume of imports of stainless steel flat products increased by 7.0%, long products by 16.7% and wire by 18.0%. The volume of imports of seamless tubes decreased down to 33.7%, welded pipes 18.0% and billets 21.7%.
