POSCO SS keeps stainless rod and bar prices flat for October

Korean steelmaker POSCO SS announced to remain its domestic prices for austenitic stainless wire rods and bars unchanged for October.

It’s learned that the nickel prices have weakened during September from August while the change was insignificant, bringing POSCO SS to remain its prices unchanged for October.

Meanwhile, nickel cash prices slumped to USD 16,505 per tonne on September, much lower than the average prices of USD 18,572 per tonne in August.
