The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for bigger vessels advanced to 894 points on Tuesday due higher rates for bigger vessels.
The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, rose by 44 points or 5.18% to 894 points.
