China’s crude steel output down 3.5% on y-o-y in August

According to National Bureau of Statistic (NBS) data released, China’s crude steel output fell 3.5% in August year on year, and down 1.7% month on month. Meanwhile, the country’s average daily crude steel output also dropped 1.89% month on month to 2.16 million tons.

During first eight months of this year, Japan’s crude steel output dropped 2% year on year to 543.02 million tons.
